Travelling facilities

There are several international and domestic flights which arrive and depart from Antalya every day. The second airport is the Alanya Gazipasa International Airport, which is 28 km away. Some international flights arrive and depart from Gazipasa Airport each week and there are also daily domestic flights to some of the largest airports in Turkey. These include the new Istanbul Airport, Sahiba Gokcen Airport in Istanbul and the Ankara Esenboga Airport.  Turkey also has well established bus routes in place, making intercity travel very easy in Turkey. The main bus station of Alanya is located in the Alanya city centre and there are also collection points throughout Alanya and the surrounding areas.

Alanya is home to 4 large hospitals as well as several smaller polyclinics. 3 of these are private hospitals and 1 is a state-of-the-art government hospital. The private hospitals are the Baskent Hospital, the Yasam Hospital, and the Anatolia Hospital. The private hospitals are all located within the Alanya city centre.  The government hospital is the Alaaddin Keykubat University Alanya Education and Research Hospital, is located in Oba, 13,3 km away. The hospital was opened in 2017 and offers treatment for both local residents and foreigners and there is also a modern dentistry hospital beside the state hospital.
